Dr. Vikas Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Mathematical Sciences, University of Delhi. Earlier, he worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Data Science and Analytics at Central University of Rajasthan, Rajasthan. He got his Doctoral degree from the School of Computer and Information Sciences, University of Hyderabad. He has completed a Master of Computer Applications degree from Pondicherry University and has received Gold Medal for outstanding performance.
His primary research interests are in the area of data mining and machine learning with a specific focus on matrix factorization techniques for multi-label classification and collaborative filtering. His contributions have been published in various prestigious journals and conferences, such as Pattern Recognition, Knowledge-based Systems, Expert Systems with Applications, etc.
